For years we had tasting at the winery using an upturned barrel under the carport!  This rustic approach had its charm, but the number of visitors we entertained was small.  Despite this small number, in 2000 the County Planning Commission ruled that we could no longer conduct commercial business on Guntly Road, which is private.

Now our tasting room is located in an old building on highway 128, near mile marker 16, next to the Floodgate Store.  We made the best of our "warehouse ambiance" by restoring the soda fountain counter from the family Pharmacy originally in Big Timber, Montana.

Our hours are seasonal. Hours in the Summer are 11-5 Friday through Monday. In the Winter the hours are 11-5, Friday through Sunday.  The phone number is (707) 895-3993.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Tour and tasting are a perfect way to spend an afternoon visiting California's scenic Anderson Valley and nearby Mendocino.  Fourteen tasting rooms are located in our neighborhood, making the Philo area a perfect destination.  Between tastings, you can relax in the beautiful redwood trees at Hendy Woods and Navarro River parks.
